Jeff Vance is a personal trainer and strength coach with a lived understanding of performance and longevity. After two decades as a chef and a back surgery to repair a herniated disc, he rebuilt his body from the ground up, turning fitness into a non-negotiable and a professional calling.
With a background in strength training, physique development, and athletic conditioning, Jeff has worked with a wide range of clients and previously coached the Santa Monica High School surf team, preparing young athletes for the physical demands of the ocean. His coaching is direct, individualized, and grounded in proven principles, focused on building bodies that perform and last. When he finds a little free time, clients can usually find him out in the water surfing.

Background & Specialities: Played competitive volleyball and trained in strength & conditioning for over 10 years, including her time as a D3 athlete at Emerson College. Moved to LA and thrived on the motivating team energy of group fitness classes and the emotional balance it provided for life’s stresses. That passion and dedication evolved into a desire to inspire and encourage others in their wellness journeys to achieve similar confidence and longevity. Through her certifications in personal strength training, group fitness, yoga sculpt, pilates, and mental well-being, she’s driven to provide a holistic approach to health and wellness that supports the mind, body, and spirit.
I like to work with people who… want to feel empowered, discover new strengths, and overcome emotional/physical hurdles to gain sustainable overall wellness & balance in their every day lives.
Outside the gym you can find me… developing live action and animated feature film projects, binging true crime, thriller and action shows or enjoying a Sunday Funday brunch.

I bring a performance-informed, clinically precise approach to recovery and movement at Pharos Athletic Club. With a background as a professional touring vocalist and lifelong circus athlete, I understand the demands placed on both high-output bodies and high-stress nervous systems. Most people come to me for a blend of deep tissue, trigger point, neuromuscular therapy, and cupping, with shiatsu and acupressure incorporated as needed.
One of my specialties is anterior neck work. Years as a competitive vocal performer taught me how to access and treat the complex musculature surrounding the vocal box with detailed, therapeutic precision — an area often overlooked but deeply connected to breathing, posture, jaw tension, and nervous system regulation. My work also integrates Pilates-based structural balance, craniosacral and energy-informed techniques, and Chinese medicine principles to understand patterns of stagnation, deficiency, and flow. Sessions are collaborative and investigative, identifying compensation patterns and building a clear plan to restore ease, strength, and sustainable resilience.
I like to work with people who…carry stress in their body, feel stuck in recurring tension patterns, or rely on their voice, focus, and performance for their work. Many of my returning clients are musicians, artists, lawyers, founders, and people in high-pressure careers who need precise bodywork alongside nervous system regulation. I also work with athletes and performers, but my focus is helping anyone whose life demands sustained output feel better in their body day to day.
Outside the gym you can find me…training Pilates and mobility, practicing aerial arts, writing music, cooking nutrient-dense meals, and continuing to study anatomy, nervous system regulation, and recovery methods that support long-term performance.
